hello Denny,

the dialog box you speak about should be this one:
http://toastytech.com/guis/solowwarning.gif. as fas as i remember it
pop-ups when you use openwindows instead ot CDE on systems running
Solaris 8 2/02 or later. i am not sure where the dialog writes it's
stuff in order to be disabled - however you could try doing the following:
on the solaris system login locally while selecting openwindows from the
"Options | Session" menu and login using the user name that you use
while logging from the PC running exceed. the dialog should appear again
- now click "Check here to disable this message" and "Continue"... then
logoff. You may try to login again on the Solarus machine to see if the
dialog is gone - if it is, then there is a high probability that when
you start the proprietary app from the PC runing exceed the dialog will
not show up.

i have not tested this and i am only guessing but you could give it a try.

greetings,

Stoyan Angelov
