what is the exact model of the card ?
additionally you may try to run the sun's device detection tool
(http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/Welcome.jsp?StoreId=8&PartDetailId=SDDT-2.0-G-F&TransactionId=noreg)
or the installation check tool
(http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/install_check.jsp).
