Hi.. Whenever I go init 0 to ok prompt of one of my sun V240 server, it go to
OK prompt with
either {1}ok or {0}ok. May I know what is mean by that ? It is no longer just
ok prompt and when
I type "go" after {1}ok or {0}ok, the server just hang and the only command
that it can use is
boot. I also try "#." after ok in order to go to ALOM but it can't.
What is the problem ?
hello Richard,
on systems with multiple cpu's the number in the curly brackets showing
in front of the OBP ok prompt indicates the active cpu in the system.
so "{0} ok" prompt means that cpu #0 is active. if you want to change
the active cpu (for example to cpu #1) you may use the following commands:
{0} ok h# 0f pil!
{0} ok 1 switch-cpu
{1}
now cpu #1 is active
cheers,
Stoyan
