Hi all. I have a problem installing Sun Studio 12 on a Solaris 10
machine.
When I try to run the ./installer file, it work nicely, until it
comes with
the components list. All of them are unchecked, I check them all,
and when I
try to continue, the installer returns me this message:
No components have been selected for the installation.
Click Ok and return to Directory Selection to specify a different
directory
for this installation or exit the uninstallation.
What is this problem?
hi Diego,
not a very prompt answer... if you still have the problem, you may try
looking at the installation log file for more detailed description of
the error:
less /var/sadm/install/logs/Sun_Studio_Software_install.<some-random-
extension>
have you tried using the command-line installer:
./installer -nodisplay
