Hello list,
I have a question for you about shared directories within a subnet. I
have users downloading up to 2-3 G per session and so speed is the
crucial factor here (accuracy is not an objection here). What is the
best way to go about it? I am leaning toward UDP. Is NFS the right
pick? If so should I use mount_nfs? Are there better utilities
available? How about MTU; do I need to tweak that on client machines
too? and if so what is the magic number here?
