If you change any of then will work, because /etc/init.d/inetsvc is the
original, other two are softlinks

Subject: [Solaris-Users] inetsvc - which file to edit?

I would like to change "/usr/local/sbin/named -u domain -t
/usr/local/domain" to '/export/home/bind/sbin/named -u domain -t
/export/home/bind/" so that my new Bind starts (instead of the old
one) when the system reboots. I searched under /etc for "named" and
found that /etc/init.d/inetsvc, /etc/rc0.d/K42inetsvc and
/etc/rc2.d/S72inetsvc all have the word "named". My question is which
one of these scripts do I need to modify and whether I need to
(re)start anything or do anything else after modification?

The O.S. is Solaris 8.

Thanks.
