Hi all,

I am very very new to solaris and have not used it on my laptop before. I have worked with unix extensively and am good in linux.

I started with solaris and found that i have difficulty connecting to the
AP using WPA PSK

My laptop is IBM T41 with Atheros chipset. I installed
 SUNWatheros
 SUNWwlanu
 SUNWsupu

 and did
 ifconfig ath0 plumb

and I got my ath0 interface visible. After this the first thing i tried
  was to use

 wificonfig -i ath0 scan
and wow ! the AP appears in the list

 My tries are as follows:

1.
  I tried using wificonfig
  wificonfig createprofile home essid=bhasker proto=WPA psk=<pass>
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
  and then
  wificonfig -i ath0 connect home

this tries for a while and says failed to connect !

2. I tried googling and found an utility dladm
it seems there is a command dladm with sub-command connect-wifi
etc., but these are absent in my system. When i run
dladm create-secobj or connect-wifi it just shows me
a help text as-if the commands are not recognized
    as below

   usage: dladm create-aggr [-t] [-R <root-dir>] [-P <policy>]
                    [-l <mode>] [-T <time>]
                    [-u <address>] -d <dev> ... <key>
             delete-aggr [-t] [-R <root-dir>] <key>
             add-aggr [-t] [-R <root-dir>] -d <dev> ... <key>
             remove-aggr [-t] [-R <root-dir>] -d <dev> ... <key>
             modify-aggr [-t] [-R <root-dir>] [-P <policy>]
                    [-l <mode>] [-T <time>] [-u <address>] <key>
             show-aggr [-L] [-s] [-i <interval>] [-p] [<key>]
             show-dev [-s] [-i <interval>] [-p] [<dev>]
             show-link [-s] [-i <interval>] [-p] [<name>]
             set-linkprop [-t] -p <prop>=<value>[,...] <name>
             reset-linkprop [-t] [-p <prop>,...] <name>
             show-linkprop [-cP][-p <prop>,...] <name>

Can someone please point/help me with procedure on how to get this up ?
Please consider me as a very beginner in solaris so that the command you
may think 'trivial in solaris' may not be trivial for me.

thanks in advance.
