No, you are wrong, 1/06 mean 1 quarter, 2006 and 3/05 mean 3 quarter, 2005, so
your version is new that mentioned in the document

Subject: [Solaris-Users] Check update version

I want to install the latest Sparc Solaris 10 recommended patch cluster

Readme says it can be applied to a system running Solaris 10 3/05
("FCS") or a later Solaris 10 Update release.
I am running Solaris 10 1/06

I assume that is earlier then 3/05 ????

If so, what are my options for upgradeing to the latest patch level?
