In Solaris 10, 'smpatch' is the command-line tool that is something like Linux's yum. There are versions of smpatch available for Solaris 9 as well, but you'd have to look for them. Most importantly, Sun/Oracle (or is that Oracle/Sun?) appear to have recently changed access to patches, now requiring a support contract. Previously, you could sign up at sunsolve.sun.com for free access to security patches -- Tim Evans, TKEvans.com, Inc. | 5 Chestnut Court UNIX System Admin Consulting | Owings Mills, MD 21117 http://www.tkevans.com/ | 443-394-3864 http://www.come-here.com/News/ | [email protected] _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users
