Dear All
To place my Solaris8 Sparc on internet , I tried to configure the followings
:
- set ip address under /etc/hosts
- set netmask under /etc/netmasks
- set DNS server under /etc/resolv.conf
- set GW address under /etc/defaultrouter
To this end, he can ping the valid ip addresses on the internet but it
cannot resolve valid url addresses. Can you please let me know what is left
to configure?
