Kind of a loaded question, simple answer is yes. But to actually do
it can be more complex. Where on Solaris are you looking to install? In
a sparse root zone you won't be able to write to /usr/lib to install the
modules. Instead either install in global or specify PREFIX=/some/path
You may have some issues compiling non-pureperl modules, but eventually
most modules are installable.
