Hey folks, Here's a version of an e-mail I sent to Tom Cato yesterday, which I should have sent to the list:
I installed Solfege 3.13.1 on my Mac. It seems to work fine. There are some exercises that don't have a "Statistics" tab, when I kind of thought they used to. And there are some that do have a Statistics tab, but don't have any statistics in them, that I kind of thought I had done before. But I could easily be misremembering in both cases, and the exercises I mostly use definitely remember my statistics fine. The only other issue is that I get the following messages on "make", "make install", and when running the program: Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display "/tmp/ launch-Q4sBTF/:0". Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "/tmp/launch-Q4sBTF/:0". Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display "/tmp/ launch-Q4sBTF/:0". Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display "/tmp/ launch-Q4sBTF/:0". Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display "/tmp/ launch-Q4sBTF/:0". Anyone know what these mean? Do they indicate any problem I should test or watch out for? (They might have happened in earlier versions and I just didn't notice.) And Tom, in response to your question, these messages happen whenever I start Solfege, whether X11 is running already or whether I'm starting it just for Solfege.
