Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 216 by josh.sarro: user should be able to easily allow hearing of chords without having to guess first http://code.google.com/p/solfege/issues/detail?id=216
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. open a lesson that involves chord recognition (ex "Minor major diminished and augmented chords") 2. click "New" 3. right click on a chord name button What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected: i hear the sound of that chord played Actual: "You should try to guess before right-clicking" What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 3.18.7 Linux/Ubuntu 10.0.4 Please provide any additional information below. i realize this is as designed, but it should be easy to turn this feature off. as far as i can find, i'd need to edit lesson files. being told how i should practice is a bit frustrating. especially since the wording of the message makes it seem like a suggestion. sometimes if i'm stumped i'd rather have a chance to hear some of the option to get a better feel without having to take a guess (which narrows the field and might even spoil the question if i'm randomly correct). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: WikiLeaks The End of the Free Internet http://p.sf.net/sfu/therealnews-com _______________________________________________ Solfege-devel mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe", or visit https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/solfege-devel
