I can reproduce this in 3.16.4, but it seems to work the latest devel
branch. I believe this is a bug in the music parser code, and not in the
lesson file. The code was fixed in bzr revno 1725:
mpd bugfix: a combination of \transpose and \relative
have always messed up octaves if changing octaves using
' or ,
Let me know about it if you see the problem in a version 3.19.1 or later.
