Nobody objected to my last email, so those changes are already committed. Round two of things I'd like to remove in Solfege 3.22.0:
In the devel branch leading to Solfege 3.16.0, released in March 31 2010, Solfege stopped using the lesson_id variable (a uuid for each lesson file) and revered to files by file name. All releases from 3.16 until 3.20.4 can read front page files, and the data files from the "Export exercises to audio files..." and "Ear Training Test Printout..." in the old format that uses lesson_id and save them again using the new format. I want to remove the ability to read the above mention files in the old file format. Even Debian stable (squeeze) has a version of Solfege that can read the old format and save it in the new format.
