New issue 269 by [email protected]: scale / root tone question
http://code.google.com/p/solfege/issues/detail?id=269

I'm filing this here, so it is not forgotten... (tca)

Let's first select

Scales
     -> Practise
-> Major Scale and its modes
-> Major Scale and its modes (Ascending)
-> On the Config tab select only Ionian

My Exercise:
I would like to try if it is possible
to train telling the root of a scale.

c-d-e-f-g-a-b-c is played, c is the answer
g-a-b-c-d-e-f#-g is played, g is the answer
f-g-a-bb-c-d-e-f is played, f is the answer
and so on

I use a table on real paper for registering my answers if they are correct,
because I can see the notes played by solfege.

Problem 1:
In the 'random transpose' feature
I would like to only allow
'step left' 'no step' 'step right' in the circle of fifths
But i often get g Ionian followed by f Ionian and vice versa.

Problem 2:
I would like to additionally restrict the root say to f,c,g,d
