: According to recent comments by Doug on the lucene list, it seems : that we need 3 or more PMC votes to conduct a release. It isn't : clear to me how many active Solr committers are actually on the PMC, : besides Yonik. Is this a potential issue?
this is one of the reasons i asked doug to clarify his comments .. yes it seems that we need 3 '+1' votes from PMC members, the PMC is listed here.. http://lucene.apache.org/who.html ...among Solr committers that's Doug, Otis, Erik, and Yonik (allthough there are several PMC members who are not Solr committers who can of course try out the release and vote. -Hoss
