Jeff,

Got a version of SolrSharp that you've used with Solr 1.2? If you put that new
client under JIRA, I know somebody who could use it right now and provide
feedback about whether it works or not, so we could get it committed in the
appropriate place in the repository.

: I'd like to see the solrsharp client library added under source control for

: I'd like to get read/write permissions to the library as well.

: How do I get this established?

Getting a patch committed just takes interest and time ... both on the
part of the community to say "this patch works for us, we think it should
be committed" and on the part of a committer to say "i have read and
understand this patch, it does what it says and improves the code base,
i'm willing to take responsibility for apply it."

read/write permissions to an apache source control repository requires
committer status, which is granted by vote of the PMC based on trust
demonstrated through wuality patches (Doug had a great write up on this o
