Hi, just new here, I am working on Rich Document support for solr-ruby and
acts_as_solr. If you are interested, see prelim results at:

For acts_as_solr I need the ID field to be a String, same as Juri Kuehn above
who supplied the fix for this.
Is there a specific reason it was not added to the latest rich.patch? I would
appreciate it.
