: This was changed on rev 510689. Mostly just wondering what the intent is for : the <defaultSearchField> tag. Are we planning on getting rid of it?
<defaultSearchField> makes sense as a "property of the schema" ... ie: a person designing a schema, without any notion of how that schema might be used, should still be able to convey to comsumers of htat schema that the main "meat" to search on is in field $foo. how that's conveyed and what the methods look like is .... something else that i haven't thought about in a while. particularly not in the context of QParsers. -Hoss
