New leaner version since there was indeed a simpler way to achieve the same 
(reviewing does help to improve, thanks Shalin).
Added a specific persistence verification & a multicore inspired test to verify 
shared schema/config configuration.
I updated the issue description to reflect the patch feature & reasons for code 
modification.
