I haven't done a perf comparison. But , it occurred to me as I looked at the
code .It goes through each Term one by one and does a startsWith()
It can be quite expensive for large no:of Terms
Memory consumption can be a problem.
That is why I suggested a config param. User can make a call as to whether he
wants to pay that price and he can afford that.
