i don't really understand what nightlies have to do with this ... in the
past when we had used "unofficial" copies of the lucene jars, we published
those unofficial copies to maven (in the solr namespace) so people using
solr from maven could get them.
...at least, that's how i understand it ... i don't use maven so i'm not
sure, but ryan made an explicit mention of it when he upgraded to 2.9.0...
