It notifies anyone looking at it that it's "subject to change w/o notification." We're primarily implementing higher-level features, not creating new low-level APIs, and I just wanted to make it clear that stuff like "DistanceUtils" is more implementation than interface and can change to meet the needs of the primary higher level APIs w/o the burden of back compat. -Yonik http://www.lucidimagination.com
