How are you sending the command to Solr? Can you show the full command / URL? I don't know what the "-F" is in what you have provided, but your separator should look like f.<fieldname>.separator=| (note the lack of quotes around the pipe... your example included quotes) -Yonik http://www.lucidimagination.com
