Erik Hatcher closed SOLR-1884. ------------------------------ Resolution: Not A Problem Please ask user questions on the solr-user list. Briefly, though, you'll need Tomcat or Jetty or some Java web container to run Solr. solrsharp is purely a Solr client, not a .NET version of Solr. Solr is purely Java. > Documentation on how to get Apache Solr running on Windows? > ----------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-1884 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-1884 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Wish > Components: documentation > Affects Versions: 1.4 > Environment: Windows > IIS7+ > Reporter: Simon Rijnders > > Looking for documentation how to get Apache Solr running on Windows. > I'm looking to run my .NET website on a Windows machine combined with Apache > Solr (this may be solrsharp or the regular Apache Solr). > And can anyone advise me on what hosting configuration is needed?
