I'm replying to this blind ... there may be additional replies later that I haven't seen -- my Internet was out for a day and a half, just restored, and I expect a few more hours before all the messages finally arrive at my mail server. That looks like a message that is coming purely from Tomcat, likely Solr did not start up correctly because of a low-level problem. You'll need to check the Tomcat log for problems, and (if it is configured to log separately), also the Solr log. Thanks, Shawn
