When I try to launch Solr 6.0 in cloud mode and connect it to a specific chroot in zookeeper that doesn't exist, I get an error in my solr.log. That's expected, but the solr process continues to launch and succeeds.
Why wouldn't we want the start process simply to fail and exit?
