Hoss, I like the LogoContest page, but I have a feeling it will not result in more logo candidates getting submitted because the only people who know about it are solr-user/dev subscribers, and people here are typically not designers.
Perhaps solr-user/dev subscribers have pointed their designer friends and colleagues to the LogoContest page?
