Thanks Shawn! Currently we are still using the CMS collector for solr with Java 8. When last evaluated with Solr 7, CMS performs better than G1 for our case. When using G1, is it better to upgrade from Java 8 to Java 11? >From https://lucene.apache.org/solr/guide/8_4/solr-system-requirements.html, seems Java 14 is not officially supported for Solr 8.
