weird behaviour while inserting records into solr

Hi,
     i was trying to insert one million records in solr (keeping the id from
0 to 1000000). things were fine till it inserted (id =  523932). after that
it started inserting it from 1 (i.e updating). i am not able to understand
this behaviour. any pointers??
