Does your new xml follow the same structure of the example? That is, <add> <doc> <fielda></fielda> <fieldb></fieldb> </doc> </add>
? Have you tried looking at the results with the admin page to see what's actually in your index? More data please. What did you do to try to index your new data? What response did SOLR give? etc....
