Hi all, we had a severe problem with our raidcontroller on one of our servers today during importing a table with ~8 million rows into a solr index. After importing about 4 million documents, our server shutdown, and failed to restart due to a corrupt raid disk.
The Solr data import was the only heavy process running on that machine during the crash. Has anyone experienced hdd/raid-related problems during indexing large sql databases into solr? thanks! -robert
