In my schema.xml file I have these date fields, do I need more?

 <fieldType name="tdate" class="solr.TrieDateField" omitNorms="true"
precisionStep="6" positionIncrementGap="0"/>
 <fieldType name="pdate" class="solr.DateField" sortMissingLast="true"
omitNorms="true"/>
