I just started trying to integrate solr with Nagios and I have it reading the JMX information from solr but I ran into an issue where the solr jmx data is all strings (as identified here https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3083). Was this a recent change? Is there a reason this would be the case?
