changing to, <lib dir="./lib"></lib> <lib dir="./contrib/extraction/lib"></lib> <lib dir="./contrib/clustering/lib/"></lib> <lib dir="./contrib/velocity/lib"></lib> still works, doesn't appear to change any behavior -- detrimentally or otherwise -- and makes more sens to me anyway. sounds like 'a keeper'. thanks.
