Rob,

I'm not sure that the SonicWALL client cares whether your network interface
is 802.3 or 803.11b (or 802.5 for that matter). Have you confirmed this as
a valid bug with SonicWALL? I used to use their VPN client on a W2K PC with
a 802.11 NIC (note it was a 2 Mbps not the 11 Mbps that you get from
802.11b).

Is your NIC completely supported and validated by Micro$oft?

Rick

Subject: [SonicWALL]- VPN Client - Wireless

Hi

The Sonicwall VPN client does not work on machines that are using 802.11b
(wi-fi). No indication from Sonicwall when that might be fixed.

You get the blue screen of death when you try.

Any suggestions on how to get a wirelessly enabled win2k machine to be able
to use a VPN client? Do other VPN clients work - are they able to connect
to a Sonicwall?

Any and all suggestions welcomed.

Rob
