Rob, I'm not sure that the SonicWALL client cares whether your network interface is 802.3 or 803.11b (or 802.5 for that matter). Have you confirmed this as a valid bug with SonicWALL? I used to use their VPN client on a W2K PC with a 802.11 NIC (note it was a 2 Mbps not the 11 Mbps that you get from 802.11b).
Is your NIC completely supported and validated by Micro$oft?
