I'm finally at a place infrastructure wise (we just moved, and tonight I replace two of my older servers with new ones, so haven't had the time) to put my sonicwall pro-vx into play. We currently VPN using my Windows 2000 NAT box. Since I have many mobile users using XP (me included) and I've never had much luck using the 2K client anyway for those still on 2K, I'm planning on leaving my 2K box multi-homed and still using it for VPN access.
Anyone else forced to do this due to the client VPN software, and if so, did you put the external interface of the VPN machine out in the WAN or in the DMZ? Looking for ideas or "best way" practices that have been proven out by being used. Thanks!
