I had the same thing done, and here I thought they were being nice to me..

Now I have to question why so many ProVX units are being replaced with Pro300's.
Anyone know why SW would do this??

One thing I noticed is the ProVX had UNLIMITED firmware upgrade forever, and the
Pro300 does not have this. I have already opened a ticket (2 days ago, no response
yet) to ask the firmware upgrade status of my new Pro300 be changed to forever like it
was on the ProVX it replaced.

The Pro300 has some more RAM, but everything else is the same as the ProVX.. So as I
see it they did me no favors, just forced me to upgrade the firmware on all of my
sonicwalls (so they could talk to each other) and in turn distribute a new policy to
all of my users.. The whole thing amounts to more work and aggravation for me because
they had a under rated power supply...

Again, Sonic Wall should be held liable for all of this. They KNEW they had a problem
and are still not taking offensive action to fix it.
