Folks - Have an inquiry into SW, but since this is playing havoc with my sleep...
PRO 300 high availability pair - installed last week. Every 4 hours (almost exactly) the Primary "hangs" for 10 minutes. It's alive, but not passing traffic through in either direction. Can reach through VPN and Public IP. The secondary does not take over. After 10 minutes, proceeds as if nothing happen. No indication in the logs of either device of anything wrong. Have taken to restarting offending firewall during this time (since can't live with the 10 mins of downtime). Secondary takes over just fine, Primary gets better, takes back over from secondary when it restarts. Interestingly, preempt mode doesn't make a difference - Primary always takes over when it comes back on. Any ideas? ====================== Robert N.
