Jeff,
1. Yes, Remote 192.168.2.1 (E0/1720) is the Default Gateway of clients
2. Yes, T1 connection
3. Yes, the default gateway of the Local 1720 is 192.168.1.1 (Sonicwall
LAN)
4. Not sure how to set this route in the sonicwall
Please remember, the Sonicwall and the 1720 on the local LAN are
connected directly to the Network Switch, not directly connected to each
other.
Remote1720-> T1(Pt-Pt) -> Local1720 ->Switch
DSL ->Sonicwall(NAT)->Switch
I can ping public addresses from the local 1720 no problem.
Traceroute from the remote network to the Internet fails at the Serial
port on the Local 1720(192.168.0.1)
Thanks!
Craig

The sonicwall needs to know that the 192.168.2.X network is available
through the local 1720. Without dynamic routing the remote network is
unknown to the local network. Thus, the need to create static routes.
Once you have done this it should allow internet access for the remote
network. This is assuming:
1. the remote 1720 is the default route for clients
2. the remote 1720 has the local 1720 has its default (don't know the
type of connection - frmae, etc..) 3. the local 1720 default gateway is
the Sonicwall. 4. Sonicwall has a route that says to get to remote lan
go to local 1720
Remote-->1720--->1720--->sonicwall-->internet
