Sounds like an authentication issue between the standalone server in the DMZ
and the domain on the LAN.

If all you need is file transfers, then I would map a drive from the LAN to
the DMZ and configure log on as a different user.

This would also be the same for mapping a drive from the DMZ to the LAN.
