Hey all, We have several folks that use the vpn client. Two users at different sites report that they regularly get "bumped off" sometime between 3 and 3:30 pm during the day.
I suspect the issue lies in our configuration of the client (or the configuration on the Pro 300 that we have at the central site), but I am not sure what it is. The users can renegotiate the tunnel and get back on without a problem. They typically start their vpn sessions around 7:30 am or so each day. The SA lifetime on the Group VPN is 40500 seconds, which would seem to provide more than enough time if they are starting at 7:30 am. We spoke with Sonicwall, and they said that if there is a significant amount of time where there is no activity, then the tunnel will shut down for security reasons, and then you have to renegotiate the tunnel. We did not get a specific period of time for the lack of activity to cause this, however. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for your time!
