Keep in mind what he is referring to is
https://www.yourserver.com:yourport
Then you open <yourport> to <yourserver>

My question is why are you running https on an non-standard port?
If the reason is because you have more than 1 HTTPS site on your
webserver, then you should look into using host headers to distinguish
the different sites. (This is configurable on the webserver. I know IIS
and apache support host header redirection.)

Paul

Ok. I wasn't sure it would work because of SSL. Thanks.

Just make a rule to send whatever port you specify from the wan to the
server running your webserver.
The fact that it is https traffic has nothing to do with anything the
sonicwall is concerned about.

Does anyone know how to port forward to a server behind a Sonicwall
running HTTPS on a port other than 443? I know it can be done if the
server was running on the default SSL port, but what if you want it to
run on a different one? Any ideas? Maybe I'm just missing something
here? Any help would really be appreciated!
