Hi James,

Unfortunately, with strange, seemingly off-the-wall issues, I have had to
recommend the following procedure:

1.
Export the preferences under Tools/Preferences/Export.
2.
Perform a hard reset, actually holding in the reset button for about 15 to
20 seconds while powering on the unit.
3.
Change a LAN host's IP address to something on the 192.168.168.0/24 network,
such as 192.168.168.100.
4.
Browse to 192.168.168.168 and log into your SonicWALL with the default
username/password of admin/password.
5.
Upload the latest firmware file as prompted. The newest is now version
6.5.0.4.
6.
Go ahead and import the preferences file.
7.
Restart the SonicWALL and see if your anomolous issues disappear.

This is a last resort, but I will do this if I can't find any other logical
solution and it isn't listed anywhere as a potential firmware bug. In many
cases, it resolves such issues.
