Families claim remains of five Serbs 7 July 2007 | 10:01 | Source: Beta *MERDARE -- Mortal remains of five Serbs were handed over at Merdare administrative line between Serbia proper and Kosovo. * Missing Persons Commission said that the bodies identified as Aleksandar Mihajlović from Priština, Aleksandar Ožegović from Beograda, Tomislav Baljošević from Orahovac, Saša Baljošević from Prizren and Radovana Račić from Radonjić, were handed over to their families Friday. “The five were kidnapped in the period between 1998 and 1999 in Kosovo and subsequently killed,” Missing Commissions representatives told Beta news agency. The identification took place the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) headquarters in Tuzla. According to Serbian Missing Persons Commission’s records, 259 bodies have so far been exhumed and identified in Kosovo.
