*Support needed by the children of Kosovo for pilgrimage to Greece*

Beloved Friends in Christ our Lord,

May our Gracious God always bless you!

On behalf of the Decani Monastery Relief Fund we are making an appeal
for funds to support an important pilgrimage for more then one hundred
children from Kosovo to Greece. This pilgrimage will take place in
mid-August and will travel with His Grace, Bishop Teodosije, and Abbot
of the Decani Monastery.

It would be heaven for the children in Kosovo to visit Greece on a
pilgrimage for prayer and relaxation. These Serbian Orthodox children
are deeply faithful to their church and in some cases their parish
church has been destroyed. Their schools and homes have been without
heat these past several cold winters. Additionally, their schools are
chronically short of necessary school supplies that support the
educational process.

Many kind people have contributed significant amounts of donations to
help purchase firewood, and let us keep in mind that these schools do
not have gas heat but are heated primarily with wood stoves. These fine
young people are headed towards adulthood during a very difficult time
in their lives and therefore these children need and deserve this
pilgrimage to Greece. It would mean the world to these children and
their relatives as well as a great spiritual blessing!

Please kindly send your donations to the Decani Monastery Relief Fund to
assist the Kosovo Children’s Pilgrimage to Greece that will take place
this mid-August 2007.
