Surroi begins month-long Kosovo march 1 August 2007 | 13:25 | Source: Beta *PRIŠTINA -- Veton Surroi begins a month-long march through Kosovo today, in which he plans to discuss the status issue with residents. * At a press conference, the ORA reformist party leader said that the goal of the march is to communicate with Kosovo's citizens in a specific and personal manner. "We are trying to establish intensive dialog with Kosovo's citizens about the basic questions related to the Kosovo status issue, and I would like to personally hear what they think about the problem,” Surroi said. Surroi and officials of his party that are traveling with him are carrying tents in which they will be sleeping. He did not deny or confirm whether the march marks the beginning of his election campaign, because local and parliamentary elections are expected to take place in Kosovo in November.
