Lavrov against threats in Kosovo, Iranian settlement
processes


LJUBLJANA - Threatening rhetoric will only escalate
the situation in both Kosovo and Iran, Russian Foreign
Minister Sergei Lavrov said. 

"If we state everywhere that the independence of
Kosovo is inevitable and Iran will inevitably be
punished, we will not achieve anything. 

"The situation will only escalate if threatening
statements are made," Lavrov said at a meeting with
his Slovenian counterpart in Ljubljana on Wednesday.
