Protest of Serbs in Kosmet on Monday at noon

The Association of Serb Municipalities and Settlements of Kosovo and Metohija
called upon all Serbs in the province to gather on Monday at noon at several
rallies to reject the declaration of Albanian separatists on the independence
of Kosmet. In conclusions passed in Kosovska Mitrovica, it was stated that in
case certain countries of the West recognize the independence of Kosovo, the
Association expects of the Serbian Assembly to ask of Kfor members from those
countries to leave Kosmet, and for their places to be filled by the Serbian
security forces. In the text signed by Association President Marko Jaksic, it
is stated that the announced arrival of the EU mission, the Association will
treat as occupation. We ask of authorities in Belgrade not to sign with
occupational force any Stabilization and Association Agreement, as this would
be an act of betrayal, it is underlined in the conclusions of the Association
